Planet liga, a new tournament format, is a game of strategy and chance. Each team competes in a season of League sanctioned games and the leading eleven teams are sent to the Championship match. The winning team reigns over the Echo Cluster until a challenger unseats them. The current Champion is The Assassins from Team Blackout.

English Premier League club Arsenal FC is partnering with Ball Corporation, the global leader in sustainable aluminum packaging, to launch its first-ever climate action tournament for fans. The unique competition will see Arsenal supporters score green goals for their clubs by taking climate-friendly actions such as eating a meat-free meal, turning the lights out or filling up a reusable bottle with tap water.

The tournament will be delivered by UK charity Planet League, who work with football clubs and their community trusts to help use the game as a way to get people to live more sustainably. Thousands of grassroots clubs and their volunteers are participating alongside 12 County FAs. And school children are being encouraged to take part through free education materials.

The tournament began on October 10. And players can represent their favourite club in a weekly fixture where they compete to win environmental goals. Each week focuses on a different topic, such as energy, food or travel. And the club whose fans score the most points over the course of a season wins the Planet League Cup.

Each team consists of a captain and two co-captains. The Captains have the responsibility of keeping their team in the best possible shape to win the league. They also have the power to vote on any decision made by the League.

The co-captains are responsible for Planetliga ensuring the players on their team have the right equipment and resources. They can also help the Captains with any questions or concerns they have.

Each player has a magnetic planet core and one habitat objective card. At the start of each round, they choose a habitat card and place it on their planet core. They then move their tokens in the direction shown on the card. Players can select habitat cards for a chance to win the displayed animal card. They can also collect trophies by winning certain categories of habitat.

Players can play on more than one team but may not participate in playoffs for any other teams until they have played in 50% of the league. This is a minimum requirement, unless the team they are on is last in the relegation table. They will then be replaced by the team that finishes 11th in the relegation table.
